Nyankey Atta Kwabena Panyin is cared for by his single mother, they often faced the reality that basic needs were difficult to meet, let alone the extra costs of schooling. Yet despite these struggles, Nyankey’s passion for learning and creativity stands out. He excels particularly in creative arts, and has demonstrated a unique love for drawing.
In June 2024, Nyankey’s life took a transformative turn when he was selected as a beneficiary of the AF Scholarship Intervention Programme. The support covered his educational expenses, lifting the heavy burden off his family and providing him with the tools to focus entirely on his studies and personal development.
Since then, Nyankey has been thriving. He is doing remarkably well academically, recently placing 4th in his class, which puts him among the top five students.
His dreams have grown bigger as Nyankey envisions pursuing the Arts at higher levels, with the ultimate goal of becoming a Professor of Arts, where he hopes to combine his talent for drawing and passion for knowledge to inspire generations to come.
With the Adingelah Foundation walking alongside him, his once distant dream of becoming a professor is steadily becoming a reality.
